paper xl Paper

Another day, another revolutionary iPad app. paper (Free with $8 add-on) is an absolutely beautiful app for creating anything you would normally do on real paper — you know, stuff like storyboarding your indie film, general note taking, sketching a nude model, or painting a watercolor landscape of the prison yard. You can create unlimited Moleskine-esque journals to store all of your masterpieces. So if you want to sketch, write, draw, outline, and color, you’ve found the most elegant app for doing so yet. Oh, and it was made by the touchy-feely folks at Microsoft who developed the failed Courier notebook thing. So… yay? Source:Paper

 The Holstee Manifesto

This is your life. do what you love and DO IT OFTEN. If you don’t like something, CHANGE IT. If you don’t like your job, QUIT IT. If you don’t; have enough time, STOP WATCHING TV. If you are looking for the love of your life, STOP…  … They will be waiting for you when you start doing things you love. STOP OVER ANALYZING, All emotions are beautiful when you eat and APPRECIATE, every last bite. LIFE IS SIMPLE. Open your mind, arms, and heart to new things, and people, WE ARE UNITED IN OUR DIFFERENCES. Ask the next person you see, what their passion is, and share your inspiring dream with them. TRAVEL OFTEN; GETTING LOST WILL HELP YOU FIND YOURSELF. Some opportunities only come once you seize them. LIFE IS ABOUT PEOPLE YOU MEET, and the things you create with them. SO GO OUT AND START CREATING. Life is to short. LIVE YOUR DREAM and SHARE YOUR PASSION

Hans-Peter Feldmann’s $100,000 artwork is worth it literally

July 12th, 2011 David No comments

hans peter feldmann 100000 exhibition Hans Peter Feldmann’s $100,000 artwork is worth it literally Now that’s what I call $100,000 artwork that is worth its title. After bagging $100,000 for his support and contributions to the world of contemporary art as the Biennal Hugo Boss prize, 70-year old Hans-Peter Feldmann decided to pump in every bit of the funds he earned in his latest installation at the Guggenheim Foundation, New York quite literally. Taken from out-of-circulation currency, the installation sports 100,000 $1 notes neatly pinned. The installation that took almost 13 days to set up will be up until November 2, 2011. This will be one safe and guarded exhibit for sure!
